Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 in Greenfield Township, Michigan, he had 2 brother and 2 sisters. Henry was the first born out of 5 children. He was unsatisfied with working on the farm so when he turned 16 he left home and started working as a mechanic in Detroit. He went to the Detroit Business Institute. Henry was famous for the creation of the Model-T. He also started the assembly line for workers to get stuff built 2 times faster than usual.

It has been said that Henry Ford revolutionized the industry of cars. Henry was determined to come up with a simple, more affordable car that most Americans were able to buy. The out come of all his hard work and effort came the Modle-T. His inspiration for all of this came from his dad William Ford. His dad was a businness man, Henry saw all the work and passion that his dad had and took that in for himself.

Henry was one of the most respected and richest men in the world and most well known people across the country. When Henry's son Edsel Ford was old enough Henry gave the ownership to his son. Edsel died at age of 50. Henry Ford died at the age of 84 on April 7, 1947. Henry died of Intracerebral hemorrhage. In 2014 the Ford company made about 1.9 billion dollars. There are over 50 models that the Ford company has made.
