Creative Jam: Adobe x LGfL x The Ocean Agency

On Thursday 27th of Feb 2020, Adobe opened up the doors of its London Customer Experience Centre to host a Creative Jam for LGfL and The Ocean Agency, as part of the the interactive #AdobeCreativeJam Program. The Creative Jam focused on Storytelling & Video powered by the use of Adobe Premiere Rush, inspired by the #GlowingGone campaign.

The Brief:

We asked the participants to imagine themselves as part of the marketing team for The Ocean Agency and to produce a short video promoting the #GlowingGone campaign, in conjunction with Adobe and Pantone – highlighting the destruction of coral in the world's oceans.

Inspirational speakers:

The day started off with our participants being inspired by our fantastic guest speakers.

Rowenna Trevellyan, Account Director at The Ocean Agency gave an overview of the #GlowingGone campaign and told us more about the excellent work carried out by the The Ocean Agency.

Bob Usher, Content Manager at LGfL, shared information around the work LGFL is doing to enable teachers and inform national curriculum strategy and Adobe's Dom Traynor spoke about the partnership between Adobe and LGfL.

Pete Gomori, founder of boutique creative studio Studio Gomori, gave some fabulous top tips on how to craft the perfect video – and inspired our participants to start getting creative!

The Bootcamp:

Byron Wijayawardena from Adobe led an in-depth session on Adobe Premiere Rush, leading participants through the steps required to create a short marketing video for The Ocean Agency to promote the #GlowingGlowingGone campaign.

Exit survey Results:

  • 100% found the Creative Jam 'extremely/somewhat helpful' in terms of learning about Adobe Premiere Rush – many teachers told us they were going to take their new skills back to their classrooms straight away.
  • 100% felt that the the Creative Jam was 'extremely/somewhat helpful' in enabling them to approach their creative brief with a fresh perspective.
  • 92% are 'extremely/somewhat likely' to use Adobe Premiere Rush as part of their day-to-day work in the near future.
