More than 600 residents attended this year's festival to celebrate spring.
Residents learned about pollinators and why certain bugs and worms are good for the garden. Hundreds of containers of ladybugs and worms were available so guests could distribute in their own gardens.
The event encouraged residents to get outdoors and garden and meet personally with our master gardener.
Educational games and crafts provided opportunities for the young ones to crawl, hop, dance and be physically active.
We provided a quiet storytime area where guests could learn about bugs and insects.
Those brave enough could even try eating a bug snack.
Residents helped to lead the event and volunteer their time to make the event a success.
