B.U.R.R.I.T.O. was founded in an attempt to bring comedy and improv education to Catalina's campus. In the past 3 years, we have performed in the B. R.E.A.L. show, alongside the other performance clubs, to showcase the skills we have gained and laughs we have had all year long. Being a part of B.U.R.R.I.T.O. is like being a part of the most supportive and hilarious family the world has ever seen. Our goal is to learn the different skills and practices within improv, and use them to bring laughter and a ray of sunshine to Catalina's community.
"I endorse B.U.R.R.I.T.O.. They meet regularly, are positive and collaborative, and are a great addition to campus clubs." –Mrs. Lara Devlin
THIS YEAR: A GLANCE BACKWARDS
B.U.R.R.I.T.O. was able to meet, at a minimum, twice per month. In those meetings, we practiced improv games, watched videos of professional comedians, and prepared for the B. R.E.A.L. show. We had three slots in B. R.E.A.L., and we performed The Line Game, The ABC Game, and Poetry for the Soul.
