Library Instruction How to find...

The Goal

Show students the library homepage & Services – so they know how to get help and what’s available to them

1. Access the library website

Library Homepage: https://library.surry.edu. Find it under “Quicklinks” My KnightLife. You will pick the best way to access the library website.

2. Contact a librarian - Ask for help

Chat 24/7. Teams. Email. Phone. Let's see which option is better for you.

3. Find Videos

Either DVDs or online videos are available. You have access to a couple of databases with thousands of academic videos with close captions, citation tools, and more. You will be happy with the offer we have, including some HBO documentaries.

4. Find Academic Articles

Journal and peer-review articles accessible through "one search box" or individual database search.

5. Find books and e-Books

Books are available to check out, and some others to read online. You will know hot to access and use the tools available like download, send, save, or share materials.

6. Find Citation Guides

One of the most popular pages in our website. You will need this, so get ready to at least know where to find the guides so you can use them every time you need them, for the rest of your academic life!

The Feedback

We not only want you know how to access the library, we also want your feedback. Please fill this final form so all of us are sure we did not wasted our time!
