CRISPR Genetic ModifiCation

CRISPR/ CAS9 is a protein that cuts out portions of genes from strands of DNA. This protein has been tweaked by scientists to target different sections of DNA and to remove certain mutated genes.

CRISPR is useful because it can be manipulated to target different genes and remove mutated ones, therefore, it can treat genetic mutations in embryos before the baby is born.

I think CRISPR should be used to prevent and treat genetic disorders, but I think it would be unethical to make all new humans have superior intelligence and a large musclular frame.

This is interesting because it revolutionizes the concept of gene manipulation by lowering the time and cost of manipulating genes. This can lead to the curing of all diseases by injecting certain CRISPR proteins into your body and modifying all of your DNA strands.
