Geological Time daniel keech

Sometime during the first 800 million or so years of its history. What was the atmosphere:The atmosphere was very different from what we breathe today; at that time.what type of life:to be composed from life forms. Was there any major events:proved and suggested that assembling and destructive events.

Paleozoic Era:

it ran from about 542 million years ago to 251 million years ago.Plants became widespread. And the first vertebrate animals colonized land.there was tabulate and rugose corals, blastoid echinoderms, graptolites, and most crinoids died out, as did the last of the trilobites.

The Permian is a geologic period and system which spans 46.7 million years from the end.The Permian period, which ended in the largest mass extinction it began about 299 million years was cold in the south and most of the region froze under ice caps.

The Devonian Period of the Paleozoic Era lasted from 417 million years ago to 354 million years ago.its named for devon.During the Devonian there were important changes in the land masses on the globe.

Mesozoic era

The Mesozoic Era is an interval of geological time from about 252 to 66 million years agoIt is split up into three parts, the Triassic, Jurassic, the planet was like soon after its formation and directly challenge years of research on the type of atmosphere out of which life

The Cretaceous is defined as the period between 145.5 and 65.5 million years ago, following the Jurassic and ending with the extinction of the dinosaurs

Jurassic the second period of the Mesozoic era between the Triassic and Cretaceous periods. The Jurassic lasted from about 208 to 146 million years ago

Cenozoic Era

65 to 23 million years ago.The Cenozoic Era, which started about 65 million years ago and continues into the present, is the third documented era in the history of Earth.the cenozoic era was known for age of mammals. This era is broken down into time periods according to the life forms that lived during that time

The Oligocene Epoch, right smack in the middle of the Tertiary Period lasted from about 33.9 to 23 million years ago.but it lasted short, 11 million years, a number of major changes occurred during this time

the Pliocene Epoch occurs during the Tertiary Period 65 million years agoThe Tertiary Period is sometimes divided into, or referred to in terms of a Paleogene Period

The Holocene or Recent is the current geological epoch which started some 11,500 years ago when the glaciers began to retreat.that retreat marked the end of the glacial phase of alot of the recent ice age.
