Ephrata Area School District iu 13 Reinventing Learning Showcase

Makerspace Design Challenge

April 8, 2016

Ephrata Middle School students worked in small groups to design an education space that offered a variety of STEAM learning opportunities.

78 students in 26 groups presented their ideas to a panel of judges comprised of district and community leaders.

The winning teams also presented their plans to the School Board.

Construction began in June 2016 to accommodate students' design ideas.

The Makerspace launched at the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
