Michigan Jaguars UPSL Home Opener

On Friday, May 3rd, the Michigan Jaguars UPSL team faced BiH Grand Rapids in the club's first ever UPSL game at Detroit Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan. The Jaguars controlled much of the play but could not manage to beat Grand Rapids' Jasmin Toric, who finished the night with an outstanding 10 saves. The match finished in a 0-0 draw, but the fans had a great night. Following the match, Jaguars players signed autographs and took pictures with the kids.

PREGAME

Youth Players from Michigan Jaguars FC and CW3 Soccer Association joined the players for the pregame walkout.

FIRST HALF

Kyle Breitmeyer (9) nearly put the Jaguars ahead with a pair of early scoring chances.

Mike Machila (11) had a great opportunity late in the first half, but Jasmin Toric made another massive save.

SECOND HALF

Mike Machila (11) nearly found the winner late in the second half, but his hard-struck volley was parried away.
