JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY
News from the Mrs. Waltert Stansbery's Art Room at Jefferson!!
We have spent the last two weeks creating sketchbooks to be used throughout the rest of the school year for various assignments and free draw time. Everyone, kindergarten through grade 5, created covers. Grades 3-5 learned a bookmaking technique to assemble bundles of pages without staples or glue. Each of these bundles were then glued into all of the covers. Grades 3-5 handled this responsibility for the younger grades as well. A total of 412 books were created. Excellent collaboration demonstrated by the Jefferson Bears Art Department! Let the sketching begin!
