Sanya Richards-Ross Olympic gold medalist

Sanya Richards-Ross is a former Jamacian-American track and field athlete, who is now an Olympic gold medalist. Sanya won gold in the 400 meter dash in 2012, after finishing 3rd in the 2008 summer olympics.

As a freshman at the University of Texas in 2003, Sanya Richards won the NCAA national championship in the 400 meters with a time of 50.58. After her sophomore year in 2004, she turned pro.

Born February 26, 1985 (age 32) Kingston, Jamaica

At the Athens Olympics in 2004, Richards was part of the US team which finished first in the 4×400 meters relay.
