St. Patrick's Day Weekend (2,200 Bottles)
Thanks to Patrick O'Briens' strong rapport with the Southie Stop & Shop we were able to secure a location directly on the parade route in their parking lot. By gaining access to their private property we were able to exit sample consumers and set up a home base for our team to hit the streets. We were able to successfully own a big moment in Boston culture that isn't normally open to most brands and sampled over 2,200 bottles!!
Northeastern University Relay For Life (2,200 Bottles)
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s largest fundraiser with events all over the world. Northeastern Relay For Life event is the largest philanthropic event at Northeastern University, the largest collegiate Relay For Life in New England, and the fifth largest collegiate Relay For Life in the entire nation. They had over 3500 participants and raised over $275,000. Sparkling Ice was there to help them rest and refresh into the wee hours of the morning with a recharge zone that had seating, our jenga set up and plenty of cold, Sparkling Ice.
College Glow Flow (360 Bottles)
Sparkling Ice partnered with Acorn Yoga to bring Glow Flow Yoga to college campuses around Boston. We kicked off our 6 part series with Harvard Medical during mid terms to break up the monotony of study hall with a little yoga that "sparkled". But this wasn't like any other yoga session you've seen. The intent was to provide a fun and upbeat program that allowed students to disconnect from stress and connect to their community through dance, partner positions and creative expression through movement. By partnering with college students we were able to help them embrace their Be Not Bland that had been hidden away behind books and needed a healthy outlet.
fabXverge Fashion Show & Concert (480 Cans)
Verge Campus Boston University and the Fashion and Retail Association came together to put on the “2017 Boston Breakthrough Artists Showcase,” the first event of its kind that bridged the gap between music and fashion. With a lineup of seven bands and solo artists and two streetwear brands, the Boston Breakthrough had students packed into BU Central to take part in the festivities.
Dennison Dribble (320 Bottles)
By providing offering high quality extended day and summer programs for school-aged children and teens. Their is to improve the educational attainment and personal development of at-risk youth and families by providing education, recreation and intervention services in a safe environment.
A Community event sent down as a request from the sales side, benefitting the Dennison Memorial Community Center; an organization to New Bedford's youth and families for the past 148 years.
Food Service K-12 Retail Support
We began supporting accounts that signed on for new distribution at the MA Food Service show back in February. Students expressed their love for our core brand even "convinced" the food service manager to our order core flavors on top of Essence of.
We are looking forward to continuing to grow the food service channel with Erin Keppie with sampling support so that we can the door to activate some unique Be Not Bland activation's during fall back to school in MA High Schools and Colleges!
