Back in Roman mythology, Venus was a beautiful goddess. She was The goddess of love,beauty,reproduction and even prostitution.

Family Relations

Since Venus Was considered one of the gods, in that culture it was allowed to have more than one wife/husband. Venus was married to Vulcan and Mars, they were also gods. Venus and Mars had one child named Cupid.Some say Venus might have been one of the daughters of Jupiter, king of all the gods. But nobody really knows who her father and mother were, or even if she had a father and mother. Some believe that she simply appeared one day.

How did Venus affect the Roman society?

Obviously the Roman Society was affected by all of their gods in a different way. The gods were the people they looked up to. They based most of their decisions off of if the gods thought it was ok or not.
