WHO ARE THE MILLENNIALS?
Jack is a 21 year old student at Tri County Technical college. He not only goes to school full time but also works 20 hours a week doing construction at his uncle's company in Greenville. Jack is up by 5am Monday-Friday and out the door by 6am to get to the construction site on time. He’s the type of guy that is always first to take on any work at the site each day and brings his mama’s home cooked meals for lunch. After work, Jack drives his truck back to Clemson in order to make his night classes at Tri County. It’s safe to say Jack is a hard working guy and his family sure appreciates the extra income. Growing up in Powdersville, South Carolina, Jack is an avid Clemson fan. Every Saturday, Jack’s family tailgates outside Death Valley to support the Tigers. With family roots all over South Carolina, Jack couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home.
Allison is a 22 year old nursing major at Clemson University. When she’s not on campus, she’s usually doing clinicals at the Greenville Hospital. Since she needs to be at the hospital by 6am, she’s often in a rush to make it there on time. Allison, is habitually late to everything, but prefers to say she's fashionably late. Allison grew up in Easley, SC although most of her family is from upstate New York. Although she may have a northern background, her appetite definitely has deep roots in the south. Fried chicken and okra are amongst her favorite foods and no meal would be complete without a glass of sweet tea.
TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT PEOPLE BUT both EMBODY THE reality of culture in the south
