This Week at Wheeler February 27, 2020

Don't you wish you were in Hamilton Grade 8 homeroom? Each year the class decorates building lumber for the Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island. Imagine the good vibes in those new houses!

In celebration of Learning Differences Awareness Weeks, we've gathered profiles from Hamilton alumni to highlight their stories, and share the life-long benefits of a Hamilton School education.

Hamilton helped instill a sense of understanding and empathy, making me more aware of the challenges we all face, and a willingness to take those challenges on.

This Week

This Week at Wheeler:  We are wondering how 100 Days of School have already gone by!? And are discussing the value of a Hamilton education and the impact Hamilton School has made on the lives of its alumni. Because it's Learning Differences Awareness Weeks, we want to remind you to register for our ps & qs party! Does 24601 mean anything to you? We have a new list of books to read thanks to the Rooster Games, (now in its 18th year!), we love seeing this annual event bring students together over their love of reading. We've done a lot of science this week, too! First with our PreKindergarten and Upper School students who were busy building volcanoes while our 5th grade Hamilton and Wheeler Scientists took a Brain Break . Don't miss our Warriors this play off season, and  Have you heard? We've got the chance to raise $50K for Wheeler! GET ON IT.
