A Spotlight on the Children's Mental Health Campaign
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Peter and Elizabeth Tower Foundation spotlighted the work of the Children’s Mental Health Campaign (CMHC) and highlighted two of our initiatives in particular: MHAP for Kids and Behavioral Health Urgent Care.
The Massachusetts Association for Mental Health has launched a new campaign aimed at empowering young adults to take charge of their mental health. #JustAsk reminds young adults that talking to a trusted friend or family member about what you’re feeling can help you manage stress, anxiety, and depression. If you need more information to understand your mental health, Network of Care Massachusetts provides research-based articles and a searchable directory of local resources across the Commonwealth. And Mass 211 offers opportunities to connect with a live person 24/7, by phone or text, to talk or find services such as housing or food. #JustAsk
