Brigade Cadets is a registered Christian Service Brigade Unit since 1962 and a registered Cadet Cadre since 2013. The best of two established traditions combined into one group.

Action

Brigade Cadets provides plenty of action for boys! Weekly meetings are fast paced and fun-filled. Each meeting includes games, small group activities and an instructional time with stories and talks from the adult leaders.

ADVENTURE

Brigade Cadets offers plenty of Adventure during the weekly meetings and with additional activities. All-Nighters, Creature Feature, Game Nights, canoeing, Pinewood Derby, and rockets are some of the adventures to look forward to!

God

A Brigade Cadet is taught to honor and be of service to God, his parents and his neighbors.

Brigade Cadets is a ministry from a local church. Traditionally, 75% of the members of Brigade Cadets #2047 are from outside of the church. All boys are welcome to participate in Brigade Cadets!

Groups with weekly meetings for boys aged 8-12

Stockade Cadets is for boys aged 8-12...

Weekly meetings, Pinewood Derby, all-nighters, sledding nights, Stockarama camping weekend, and many other activities!

We have two Stockade Cadet groups to choose from.

Tuesday Stockade Cadets & Wednesday Stockade Cadets

Tuesday Stockade is a smaller group by design and uses materials from both Cadets & Brigade.

Two proven traditions combined to create a more diverse group for today's boy.

Tuesday & Wednesday Stockade both have the option of uniform shirts at no additional cost.

Wednesday Stockade is a larger group which follows the same schedule and structure as Tuesday Stockade but on a different night

Both Stockades are focused on providing 8-12 year old boys with fun & active group experiences.

For the older guys we offer a group on Monday evenings...

Battalion Cadets for youNG men ageD 12-16 years old

The Battalion Cadets weekly meeting is packed with activity and adventure combined with leadership development. There are similar groups for guys but none that stress leadership development for guys aged 12-16.

Brigade Cadets #2047 is a unique group for boys. Attendance is never mandatory, our registration fee is low, we do no fundraising, parents are not required to participate and we have an open door policy where parents can drop in any time.
