Counting down to the start of the 2016-17 college basketball season on Nov. 11, ASN's Mark Adams spotlights The American's All-EnthusiAdams Team.

TROY CAUPAIN | CINCINNATI | SR

Preseason Player of the Year

Maybe the most solid PG in the country. Mick Cronin’s team will be very good again.

JALEN ADAMS | UCONN | SO

While his regular season numbers are OK (7.3 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 2.4 APG he turned it up and made the AAC All-Tournament Team.

KENTRELL BARKLEY | EAST CAROLINA | SO

One of the best young talents in the AAC put up solid numbers last season (10.1 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 3.0 APG).

Amida Brimah | UConn | SR

This shot-blocking big man continues to add layers to his game. He and many other playmakers make UConn elite.

Josh Brown | Temple | SR

The 6-3 Brown averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 assists last season and is arguably the biggest catalyst to Temple's success this season if healthy.

Gary Clark | Cincinnati | JR

This 6-7 do-it-all forward (10.4 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 2.1 APG) was the AAC Defensive Player of the Year last season. He’s back and even better.

Damyean Dotson | Houston | SR

Dotson (above) was one of only three players to rank among The American's top 11 in both scoring and rebounding (13.9 PPG, 6.8 RPG).

Tacko Fall | UCF | SO

The 7-6 shot-blocker came on strong late last season, finishing with 2.3 blocks per game. He might not get any bigger but he will get better.

Rob Gray Jr. | Houston | JR

Head coach Kelvin Sampson’s players get tougher and better. Gray will do both.

Dedric Lawson | Memphis | SO

New head coach Tubby Smith inherits a potential pro. Memphis always has talent and Lawson ensures enough talent for Tubby to win.

Jahmal McMurray | South Florida | SO

A 6-0 guard who starred in his debut season (15.2 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 2.5 APG).

Shake Milton | SMU | SO

Shake can bake! As a freshman he averaged 10.5 PPG, 2.7 APG, 3.0 RPG, 47.7% FG and 42.6% 3PT.

Ben Moore | SMU | SR

He averaged 11.9 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 2.2 APG last season and led team in blocked shots and 54.9% FG. Efficient and Smart.

Semi Ojeleye | SMU | JR

This 6-8 transfer from Duke is getting a lot of preseason love in Dallas.

Rodney Purvis | UConn | SR

UConn boasts depth and experience in the backcourt with the return of this talented guard. Huskies are Top 10 good.

BJ Tyson | East Carolina | JR

Averaged 14.6 PPG last season. He's a solid all-around player for rising Pirates.
