Igama is the solo project of guitarist and producer Adonis Jordan. Utilizing over a decade in instrumental studies, including multiple years of university guitar training, Igama approaches electronic music with an emphasis on live performance and improvisation. Igama performs live using a combination of ableton live, guitars, and auxiliary percussion in a constantly evolving configuration.
His first full-lenth album, Angular Bliss,was released 05/25/17, featuring artwork by Berlin-based artist Hatva. The album is strongly genre-defiant but covers the intersection of Downtempo and Melodic Electronic Music. Nearly every track includes electric or acoustic guitar and a few songs included field recordings from Europe, North America, and Africa captured by Dr. Dominique Roche.
In 2016 contributed a remix to the CloZee - Revolution Remixes album via Gravitas Recordings alongside, ill.Gates, AMB, Charlesthefirst, Sixis, and more. Igama's remix was also one of three included on CloZee's vinyl pressing of Revolution.
Adonis Jordan has over ten years of experience as a live musician and is a natural performer who carries that passion and energy on stage each time he performs. Igama plays both electronic and acoustic shows regularly throughout his home base of Northern Utah.
