If you Have access to microsoft office 365 through your school (i.e. you have a school email address)...

Use the button below to access the online Quick Start guide for students in Teams. Be sure to change to the Students tab for the appropriate set of instructions. These instructions will help you join the Baker Technology in Education (SIDLIT Conference) class to earn CE credits. You can find the 7-character code needed to join the Class Team in the Syllabus, available under the Baker University academic credit option on the SIDLIT Summer Institute web page.

Note: If you have a school email address but do not have Office 365, you may be eligible to sign up for Office 365 Education for FREE and install it on your own devices (up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones). Learn more about signing up.

If you access Microsoft teams using a non-school email address...

Sign in to Teams using your email address associated with your Microsoft/Office account. Click on the button in the upper-right corner of the Teams window to "Join or create team."

In the "Join a team with a code" box, enter the 7-character code provided in the Syllabus, (available under the Baker University academic credit option on the SIDLIT Summer Institute web page.)

If you do not have a microsoft/office account...

Use this link for instructions to sign up for Teams free. You will be able to create a free, standalone Teams account for the purposes of this class, whether or not you plan to continue using it afterwards for your own purposes.
