Marco Polo and The Silk Road

RACES: The reopening of the Silk Road helped the Renaissance.

The reopening of the Silk Road helped the Renaissance by moving products to the east and west along the Silk Road, when the Roman Empire and the Han dynasty fell, soldiers no longer were protecting travelers between Europe and Asia as a result the Silk Road declined , in 1200s the Mongols took over China and they made the roads safer for travelers and traders, a man from Venice named Marco Polo and his family met a Mongol Emperor named Kublai Khan which he invited them to stay in his court and even made Marco Polo a government official.

This video showed about the most important trading centers and why,it also showed about the geography that helped them to flourish through Europe.

The impact that the movable type printing press had in literacy is that it helped spread new political ,artistic and religious ideas through Europe. This movable type printing press helped make printing faster and cheaper .

In conclusion William Shakespeare was so famous because of his plays and interest in humanism.

Some famous lines from a poem or play are: "The course of true love never did run smooth.- A midsummer Night's Dream". And "Do you not know I am a woman? when I think, I must speak"- As you like it .
