Burlington Royals marketing Opportunities

The Burlington Royals are the Advanced-Rookie Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals in the Appalachian League. The Royals host 34 regular season home games from June until Labor Day weekend.

Burlington Athletic Stadium 1958

Originally named Fairchild Stadium after the nearby Fairchild Park, Burlington Athletic Stadium has played host to many games in the legendary original Carolina League as well as the Burlington Indians and the Burlington Royals. The stadium has a capacity of 3,500 and has held beer festivals, concerts, wrestling matches, collegiate baseball tournaments, and more. The stadium also makes a cameo in Ron Shelton's 1988 film "Bull Durham."

Jersey Auctions

Game-worn specialty jerseys are auctioned off to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County and the Autism Society of North Carolina

The Royals host two blood drives at the stadium each season.

Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk for Autism Awareness

The Royals have hosted a 5k Fun Run/Walk for Autism Awareness in conjunction with OT Sports since 2013. All registration and donation proceeds benefit the Autism Society of North Carolina.

In 2017, the Royals held several food drives at the stadium benefitting Food Lion Feeds, Breakthrough Community Church, DreamAlign Ministries, and Allied Churches.

The Royals host special events involving the community to benefit non-profit organizations such as the United Way

SUMMER READING PROGRAM

Since 2012, the Royals have teamed up with Alamance County Public Libraries to challenge local children to complete a Summer Reading Program. Now known as Operation One Million Minutes, the program encourages children around Alamance County to enjoy reading and earn prizes while doing so!

IN-GAME FEATURES

FIELD OF DREAMS

Youth teams in the area have the opportunity to meet the players before the game and go out onto the field during the National Anthem through the Field of Dreams program. Name-branding sponsorship for the program includes online/social marketing, print materials, and pre-game PA reference to the business. Additionally, promotional materials may be distributed to the Field of Dreams teams with their tickets.

BETWEEN INNING PROMOTIONS

GAME CHALLENGES

In-game challenges are activated based on Royals performance. This could include home run inning, stolen base inning, strikeout batter of the game, double plays and more. The promotional offer can be distributed in person via materials at exit gates, ticket redemption, or online via promotional codes.

KIDS RUN THE BASES

Kids have the opportunity to run the bases just like the Royals players following the game on Sunday evenings. Sponsorship includes name-branding and the opportunity to distribute promotional materials to participating kids.

On a certain night(s), the Royals players will wear a specialty jersey featuring your brand on it.

BACK for the 2018 season! Poster schedules will be distributed to fans and businesses around the community before the start of the season.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS

Every fan that purchases general admission seating will receive a ticket. The back will feature your logo and an exclusive promotion offer for Royals fans.
