WELCOME

We're so glad that you have chosen to follow our journey by subscribing to this Newsletter. In today's landscape of hyper-engagement and information overload, we are glad that you still find value in keeping up with what God is doing. As you read, keep in mind that everything we do is possible because of people like you and we hope you recognize this and praise your Father in Heaven.

FARMING PROJECT

Finally! After some delays with our supplier (because of the availability of seedlings) we finally got our order filled and planted. Our Project Manager, Gail Vermaak has been visiting the centers to see how the the veggies are doing.

JAM SUPPLY

Good news! Joint Aid Management distributes a specially blended porridge that provides 75% of the micro-nutrients that children need in a day in a 50 gram serving, which helps the children grow strong and healthy. Abba's Pride feeds almost 600 such meals to children everyday. In the past we have had to purchase the porridge but after meeting with representatives from JAM this month, they have agreed to partner with us and provide us with the porridge.

On the 13 of April Eastside Community Church Women's Ministry hosted an event benefiting Abba's Pride. "Sip 'n Shop" was an opportunity for ladies to strengthen community over some tea, snacks and shopping for some clothing. The event was roaring success and raised almost R10 000 going towards supporting the mission of Abba's Pride. We are so grateful for their support.

This month our team got the opportunity to meet with Pastor Herens Nkoana to discuss a possible partnership with Abba's Pride. Pastor Herens from Ramotse Reformed Church in Hamanskraal, he currently serving 60 children in an after-school program. We are prayerful about the future.
