Apartheid Era In South africa

Apartheid was a segregation system in South Africa during 1848 to separate the 2 races. This is similar to the period of time when Americans were forced to release slaves and had segregation laws placed on the darker skinned Americans.

Living under Apartheid rules was very beneficial for the white Africans. There were good jobs and they had a relevantly good economy. They also received more food then the darker individuals. Darker Africans were forced to do intensive labor. If they got to tired they dug there own whole and was buried to there neck in it.

It is important to know about this period of time because, much like other parts in history. We have to see mistakes and understand them in order to not make them again.
