Greetings from the University of Maryland Volleyball Program
As you know, volleyball in the B1G Ten is as good as it gets and this year is no exception. The battles on the court, in recruiting and in program development are fierce and produce the #1 Volleyball conference in the country year after year.
Our goal at UMD is to provide the best possible experience for our student athletes. One of the major initiatives this year is the addition of a new Volleyball Team Suite/Locker Room. To have a successful athletics program, you need to have exceptional facilities. We want to ensure this locker room is on par with the best in the country because that is where this program is heading. This facility will have an incredible impact on the future of our program and it makes a statement to the rest of the country…we are serious about becoming a championship program.
The features of this project represent essential components of a successful collegiate volleyball program and remedies longstanding facility needs. Construction is scheduled to begin early in 2017. The approximate cost to build the Volleyball Team Suite/Locker Room is $800,000. Our Athletic Department has made a significant contribution to this project and we are very grateful.
Now it is time for the alumni, friends and family of Maryland Volleyball to ensure this venture includes all the necessary features to be a first class facility.

Volleyball Suite/Locker Room donors who are also donors to the Terrapin Club will receive Terpoint credit for their donation.

Our staff has worked tirelessly over the last 30 months. We have recruited special kids. We are close to really breaking through and we need your help. This project will be the heartbeat of the program and we owe it to the student athletes to hit a home run.
