- Five different players scored rushing touchdowns for Michigan: Khalid Hill (2), Karan Higdon (2), Jabrill Peppers (2), Ty Isaac (2) and Bobby Henderson.

- Michigan did not need to use its passing game much (8 of 16 for 119 yards), but Jehu Chesson (right) hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Wilton Speight to give the Wolverines a 14-0 lead.
- Early in the second half, John O'Korn threw his first touchdown pass as a Wolverine, connecting with Khalid Hill on an 11-yard score.
