Building an Owl nest takes care and lots of materials! Just ask our Nursery students, they can tell you all you need to know about Owls and how to build them a nest.

Making Choices

Our graduation requirements are a good reflection of choices that we as a school have made. Not all schools require a year of visual and performing arts; not all schools require unity and diversity, or environmental science. For us, those requirements, and many, many others, reflect the choices we have made, and the values that we hold about teaching and learning, about student health and wellness. Neeltje Henneman, Head of Wheeler Upper School

This Week

This Week at Wheeler: Nursery found that the question marks around campus led them to their latest Mystery Reader, our Head of School! Read her blog about possibilities for the new decade here. The Hamilton Institute launches a new Podcast: Talking Dyslexia: Parent to Parent and our Varsity Girls Tennis Team is feeling accomplished after the All-State Announcements hit the paper. Also, could you imagine there is a bubble world behind the Mystery Door? The Door Dudettes did. Our 6th-grade students gathered and shared the stories of people who had immigrated to the United States. Don't forget to register for this year's SICA Community Spirit Awards and Potluck. RSVP and tell us what will you bring?
