Big Comeback, Big 12 Win Cyclones rally from 14 Down in second half to beat texas tech in opener

Hilton Magic proved to be alive and well once again. For the eighth time in the last six seasons, ISU found a way to rally after trailing by 14 or more points in the second half. The Cyclones closed the game on a 20-4 run in the final 9:09 to win 63-56 in the Big 12 opener.
Monte Morris had 14 points and dished out six assists with no turnovers. It was the 40th game of his career without a ball handling miscue.
Naz Mitrou-Long led the Cyclones with 19 points, including 17 in the second half. He hit just one 3-pointer, but it was a big one.

Iowa State returns to action Wednesday night against No. 4 Baylor in Waco. The game will start at 7 p.m. with ESPNews televising.
