Lighting Las Vegas 2018 Trip Report

We had an amazing group of participants signed up for this photo workshop and Tom wanted to start the first night with a bang.......

After brief introductions, Elvis walked in - all 6 foot 5 inches of him.....As expected he was larger than life!

Day 1 & 2

For the next two days students learned how to use speed lights and strobes both indoors and around the beautiful grounds of the Tuscany Suites. We had three bays in our conference room set up with all the gear for students to work with 9 different models throughout the workshop.

Day 3

Our next stop was Nelson to work on photographing models in the desert, surrounded by old cars, planes and plenty of cholla cactus.

Our Group

We limited our group size to ten for this workshop so students would have plenty of time to shoot. Many of our participants were new to speed lights and strobes. This hands on workshop gave them plenty of practice with equipment and models.

Capturing the famous neon lights of Fremont Street was our final destination. The perfect way to finish Lighting Las Vegas
