CITY COUNCIL MEETING

At the January 5, 2021 City Council Meeting, the City Council will consider the following items:

Approval of City Council’s Special and Regular Meeting Minutes of December 15, 2020 and overview of temporary emergency action related to continuity of city services and personnel and request for direction.

COUNCIL MEETINGS

Members of the public can participate in the teleconference Council meetings by following the instructions stated on the meeting agenda. Members of the public can listen to the meeting audio livestream online at HERE or on Youtube, ConnectwithTC. Requests to speak during “Public Comment” will be accepted by email to cityclerk@templecity.us before and during the meeting, prior to the close of public comment on an item. Efforts will be made to read written comments received before the end of the meeting. Comments that are not read into the record will be made part of the record. Lengthy public comment may be summarized in the interest of time.

YOUTH COMMITTEE

The Youth Committee’s December mental wellness message is “Bounce back better than ever, TC”. This message will be displayed on the digital billboard until end of December.

PARKS AND RECREATION

FAMILY TRIVIA NIGHT

The Parks and Recreation Department continues the popular Family Trivia Night program in 2021! Trivia topics include: Marvel vs. DC, 80’s vs. 90’s, Pixar Movies and Harry Potter. Each monthly trivia night will have a main theme with three different categories ranging between 20-30 questions per round. After each category, winners will be announced and the top three finishers receive gift cards! It is absolutely free to participate in the City's monthly Family Trivia Night. Pre-registration is required for each monthly trivia night.

CRAFT CLUB

Join the fun and get creative with specially themed crafts, tasty snack recipes, and awesome games via Zoom! Youth ages 6-12 years can register for 2021 Craft Club sessions that take place on Friday nights from 5:30-7:30p.m. Registration for each two-class session is $15 and includes a “Rec Pack” of crafting supplies, materials, snacks, and recipes. Rec Packs will be available via contactless pick-up at the Live Oak Community Center Annex located at 10144 Bogue Street.
