The Fall of Rome The 4 reasons of decline

Germanic barbarians contributed to the decline of the Roman Empire. Groups known as the Visigoths, Vandals, Saxons, Angels, and Huns were constantly attacking and weakening the borders of the Roman Empire.

Maintaing the military became costly and expensive for the Roman Empire. Citizens became dissatisified and unhappy because of the high taxes they were required to pay. The Roman Empire had grown so big that it was hard for the borders to be patroled and protected.

After reading the article, answer the following questions: 1) What are moral values? 2) What are some of your values? 3) How did the moral value decline effect the Roman Empire? 4) Do you see any similarities between society of Ancient Rome and the United States?
