Life in the 30s It Was depressing

Life in the cities- LIFE IN THE CITY WAS HARD. FACTORIES CLOSED, LOTS OF PEOPLE LOST THEIR JOBS, AND TERRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS.

Life on the farm- IT WAS HARD O GROW CROPS, AND EVEN HARDER TO MAKE A DECENT PROFIT OFF OF THEM. AND FROM THE PROFITS, YOU HAD TO DECIDE TO EITHER SAVE THEM MONEY, OR SPEND IT ON FOOD OR NEW CROPS

Life for minorities- IT WAS HARDER FOR MINORITIES THEN THE WHITES. UNEMPLOYMENT FOR WHITE MEN WERE AT 25%, WHILE FOR MINORITIES WAS AT 50% WORKING CONDITIONS WERE ALSO WORSE FOR THE MINORITIES.

Family life- MOST FAMILIES WERE PUT UNDER EXTREME STRESS WHEN THEY LOST THEIR SAVINGS. MARRIAGE RATES DROPPED, BORTH RATES DROPPED, AND DIVORCES STARTED TO HAPPEN.

Pass times-SWING MUSIC CAME OUT, MOVIES BACAME MORE POPULAR, PROFESSIONAL SPORTS DECLINED
