After a thrilling win over No. 25 Kansas State, Texas Tech has now knocked off four-straight ranked foes at United Supermarkets Arena, dating back to last year. Here's a look at the streak.
Keenan Evans received an inbound pass with two seconds on the shot clock late in overtime, with the game tied at 80. He was far behind the three-point line, but he let it fly. He banked it in to give Tech a lead it would not relinquish.
The Red Raiders, trailing by four with just 2:45 to go, finished the game on an 8-2 spurt to knock off the No. 3 Sooners and deliver their second-straight home win over a top-25 opponent.
No. 7 West Virginia seemed to have all the momentum going into overtime, and took a 76-74 lead on a three-pointer with 30 seconds to go. Then, Anthony Livingston delivered.
"I shot that shot about 100 times before the game with [Graduate Assistant] Darryl Dora, so I shot it with a lot of confidence." - Anthony Livingston
Trailing 62-61 with 30 seconds to go, the Red Raiders needed a stop and score to extend their home winning streak over ranked opponents to four. Keenan Evans got a steal and fired ahead to Niem Stevenson on the break.
It's you, the fans, that can make the United Supermarkets Arena a special place to play every night.
