While in Ho Chi Minh Melfer P. Carbonilla

Great Day! How are you? I hope you are having an awesome time preparing for the holidays specially now that Christmas is coming near. Here in Vietnam, I only got to see Christmas tree in our pastors house and one ice cream shop so you can just imagine how I missed Christmas. It reminds me more of how important it is that we introduce Jesus to nations like Vietnam. So they too can celebrate with us the very reason why our Savior came to earth---to save the lost and give us eternal life. Here are the latest updates in our engage and equipping activities to be more effective in reaching the lost for Jesus.

We now have a new venue for English Club!
We were given the favor to use one of the classrooms inside the school. Thank God for that!
These pictures were taken after the Mini Service every Sunday. Some of them are the fruits of the English Club in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education(HCMUTE)

Engaging the lost through English Club is just the beginning. We must then share the gospel to them by starting the conversation about God. In the Evangelism Workshop we discussed about the step by step.

Evangelism Workshop (November 24, 2016)

One of the most important event that happened this November is the first ever Every Nation Indochina Conference 2016. Over 135 delegates from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand,Myanmar, Philippines, Malaysia, USA, Singapore and Hawaii attended the event. We learned in this 3 days event the importance of the 7 Elements of a Healthy Church.

Here are a few photos of the event (November 8-10,2016)
EN Apostolic Leaders

I had the rare opportunity to serve our Apostolic Leaders closely. I served as the stage manager during our Indochina Conference. My favorite part is sitting beside Ptr. Steve Murrell, the founder of Every Nation Ministries & Victory Church and hearing how our apostolic leaders talk about important stuff in our movement. Look at how serious they are while I'm smiling:-)

The Indochina Conference was held at the same date as our EN Campus Annual Staff Summit in the Philippines. Even though I was not able to attend and receive the award along with my batchmates I was still able to celebrate it here in Ho Chi Minh. I was surprised to received my plaque while I was in Vietnam. Our batch was awarded for our 10 years service in the campus ministry. We will be forever grateful to God for His decade of abundant grace and favor in our lives. Thank you also for being a valuable part of this journey!

Hope you are encouraged by the updates today! A few more days and I will be coming home to the Philippines. Thank you so much for your prayers and financial partnership with me in this 3 months mission to Vietnam. You may not be here physically but through your partnership with me, you are also making a great impact to the students, leaders and workers all over the Indochina region I got to meet and interact with. Have an abundant and blessed Christmas!
