Purdue Extension Health and Human Sciences provides education to people of all ages in Indiana's 92 counties. The community is our classroom - where we bring university information to the local level and help people strengthen families, spend smart, eat right, and live well.
As a volunteer for Purdue Extension, you play an integral role in meeting the needs of your community. To support you in this important mission, we have developed the Volunteers IN Action Program. The purpose of this program is to help you get to know Purdue Extension better and to help facilitate your onboarding process as a volunteer. Working with your community can bring you immense satisfaction as you watch the positive changes and impact of HHS Extension programs. You, too, can gain new skills and meet new people as you participate in your county's activities.
We at Purdue Extension stand ready to support and assist you in your volunteer role. Thank you for giving so generously of your time and we look forward to working with you.
Dr. Angie Abbott, Associate Director, Purdue Extension
