UPFEST July - 2016

Summer has rolled in, the Bristol festivals have started, and first on the list?

Upfest is Europe’s largest, free, street art & graffiti festival featuring over 300 artists, painting 28 venues throughout Bristol. The rain might have been falling but that didn't stop both the artists and spectators enjoying an awesome street-side show.

Artists travel from 25 countries and across the UK to paint live on 30,000sqft of surfaces in front of 25,000 visitors. The affordable art sale, music stages and art workshops round off a visually spectacular weekend!

An artist stands, and observes his work while people walk all around and past.
The artists work feet from the crowd, creating throughout the day, happy to talk and answer questions to anyone who asks.
The art on show ranges from huge, full building murals to tiny stickers.

One of the best parts of Upfest is the range of work on show. Pitched to me as a graffiti festival, it's most certainly a lot more than just that! Plus the range (and quality) of the art on show is staggering!

And if the art doesn't do it for you...maybe the street food will ^_^!
