Learning at home - Week 2 spanish /math kinder SIP

Dear families, hope you are well and remind strong and hopeful during this time. See below a continuation of the math package sent home in Spanish which I here present in English. Please contact me if you have any questions or if your child just wants to say hi. Certainly miss them all.

Video: This is my companion Nina, she will be doing some videos with me. Here she wants to greet the children. Also there are videos complementing the worksheets, please have your child watch. Gracias!

Everyday practice:

  • Use hundred chart sent home to practice counting to 100 in Spanish.
  • Count backwards from 30 - 0.
  • Pick random numbers and practice saying which ones goes before, which one goes after.

Unit 7: Workbook pages

1. Count the shapes in the hands of Mia, write how many of each are there. Then order the numbers from smallest to biggest.

2. Page 143: Count the noses and eyes of children in the picture.

3. Page 144: Illustrate your family, count their body parts and record the numbers accordingly.

4. Page 145: Use the information in the chart to answer the questions. In point 4, ask your family about their favorite meal.

5. Represent the teen numbers on the ten frames. The first one has been done for you. Example: 10 + 1 = 11

6. Determine the teen number represented by the tens and ones. Then write the number sequence as shown on the example.

More to practice:

  • Continue to log into Happy Numbers (IXL only if finished with all happy numbers levels).
  • Log into Reading A-Z to practice Spanish see steps below:
  • On the upper tab , look for Spanish resources.
  • Read alphabet books or/and leveled books A - B- C.
  • Have your child LISTEN AND REPEAT to the audio books in Spanish! :)
