Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action adventure set in Night City, a giant, power-modifying megalopolis. Everyone plays as V, a criminal fugitive that is on the hunt for a unique implant that is the key to immortality.

Users can personalize cyber styles, skills and the play style of their character. These stats are based on what "class" players choose. Possible classes are NetRunner (focuses on hacking), Techie (focuses on machinery), and Solo (focuses on combat).

After personalizing their character, players are free to wander a large city where they make decisions to shape the history and the environment.

Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to customize their characters in a variety of ways.

Players are first allowed to pick the sex of their character, either female (Valerie) or male (Vincent). Regardless of what is selected, the protagonist still goes by V.

After selecting the character's sex, players are given the option of further customization. Features such as voice, face, hairstyles, body type, clothing, modifications (scars, tattoos, and piercings), and background can be modified to players liking.

Before the game was available to the general public, a select amount of gaming critics/enthusiasts were allowed to review the game. Upon playing the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077, many of them were pleased with the game's performance and rated it an average of 9/10.

However, gamers who played on the Xbox One or PS4 did not share a similar experience. They reported that their consoles were consistently freezing and lagging as a result of the video game.

Players on older consoles experienced heavy amounts of glitches (as seen in the picture above).

The makers of the game, CD Projekt, issued an apology to all players who were experiencing these glitches. They are offering a full refund to those who did not deem that the game was up to standards. Additionally, CD Projekt will be releasing several updates to the game in order to improve the gaming experience.
