Early Life

Odell Beckham Jr was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and is the son of former LSU running back Odell Beckham Sr and All-America sprinter Heather Van Norman. Having two great athletes as parents only further helped Odell understand, at an early age, what it would take to be successful. He attended High School at Isidore Newman where he excelled in both football and basketball. After four years of stand-out play, he became a U.S. Army All-American. Odell decided to follow in his parents' footsteps by committing to the Louisiana State University.
