The becoming of you in oneness with Christ

To be a whole person who is alive in the wholeness of life.

God in a trinitariean enterprise has healed the relationship between God and you, between God and us.

Jesus kicked off the Kingdom of God with miracles. But its essence is not miracles. These are the introduction to a healed life – a life in which we live interwoven into God in a mode that may be likened to ‘one flesh.’ We may call the incarnation a miracle if we like. But what it is, is THE PLAN Paul and John talked of realised in our life. ‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20 NIV.

You are always enough in Jesus

In this oneness with God you get to be who you are. This is the real holiness and wholeness that far surpasses the pieties of religion.

Togtherness, union and communion are the core of life to the full.

The Joy of being us.

Your Christian life is not a daily lived-out contract in which you earn merit and intimacy with God. Since the cross you begin with union and intimacy with God and live from your redeemed identity: You are a son/daughter of God who lives in God's joy.

Being yourself comes from being together. You belong in God.

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. John 14.20.

Family is the Kingdom in spirit and in truth – the separation of Adam undone and the union that Jesus experiences with Father and Holy Spirit – yours. The realisation that Jesus speaks of results in something that is both ordinary and amazing. You and I and all who believe become the manifestation of God where we are. This is the church Jesus builds without human hands. The plan was never to set up institutions. Anything that ‘contains and captures’ the manifestation of Jesus from people is a hindrance and not a help.

You are an expression of The Christ

The plan is to manifest Himself in you. And more than this. As you. The Kingdom of God is not contained in religiosities, church buildings or people ‘with a mandate.’ All incarnated people are mandated rivers of living water. Rivers of living water flow from those who know and live their union with God. Anywhere such people gather, they are the church of Jesus. They are the church when not gathered because they are part of God whereever they are.

You are incarnated with God by believing you are.

Don’t let other people define who you are as a daughter or a son because you will not become one in this mode. You will be a consumer and a clone.

Consume Jesus. Those who eat Him will become themselves because of Him.

The illusive freedom of Religion.

"They may be utilised but they are not you.."

Richard Rohr observes, “I no longer use events or titles, roles or opinions, clothing or money, affiliations or contacts, or even churches, temples, or synagogues to define myself. I make good “use” of them, and can also let go of them or even keep them and love them, but I do not “believe” them as if they represented final substantial reality. They are all passing, relative goods.” (1) They may be utilised. But they are not you. Adopted as who we are they become the false self and the false identity of the self who has not yet found their identity in Jesus.

Oneness with God is yours. It aids a healed you and oneness with others. You become one as Jesus is one with Father.

Communities that make up the Kingdom of God are not defined by the contemporary money-changer. They are first sculptured into sons by our Father and when they coalesce as His Body they are the unfolding new creation church. The fullness of Christ is revealed in communities for whom Jesus is life. This is a relationship that is personal and communal. You now have the relationship with Father and spirit that Jesus does. This is womb of genuine individuality and genuine community. It shapes us individually as sons and us collectively as priests and kings.

Life becomes an adventure of discovering God, discovering you and discovering infinite life.
