In 1893 the Texas Longhorns had their first football season and have kept 2 words under their name. Determined, and fearless not giving up until the very end of the game whether its a win or a loss. That's what makes this team special from all the rest.
In 2006 for a undefeated record Texas had to go against Oklahoma for that perfect record. Texas did end up winning the game 10-24 and they were now off to the Rose Bowl to go against USC.
The Rose Bowl was a game between No. 1 USC and No. 2 Texas and it was a thrilling game that no one will ever forget witnessing. USC had the lead in the 4th quarter and the Longhorns only had a short amount of time to get a touchdown and win the game!
Then the most unbelievable thing happens with only 19 seconds left on the clock in the 4th Quarter.
Vince Young goes for it on 4th and 5 and they end up getting the game winning touchdown with only 19 seconds left game! Succeeding their goal of winning a a great championship!
After a few years later with all of the star players off to the NFL the Longhorns records began to drop. There were no more amazing championships and undefeated records and now they've been struggling ever since.
