Non-Fiction By: Caden Moss

Non-Fiction is prose writing that is based on facts, real events, and real people, such as biography or history.

It is also a genre in Language Arts that the book, magazine, etc is all based on true facts.

Two of my favorite Non-Fiction books that I have read this school year is "Soldier Boys" and "Irena's Children." These books are based off of World War 2 and the Holocaust.
I n Non-Fiction there is NO OPINION'S ALLOWED! If you write a book and it is full of opinion's then it is not Non-Fiction.
With Non-Fiction there a bunch of Text Features that make up Non-Fiction. Like Information's, diagram's, graph's, table's, and facts.
There are multiple different type of Non-Fiction reads. The Newspaper is one of them. The Newspaper could actually go either way though because it is often filled with a bunch of opinions. Another type of Non-Fictions books are ones that involve research on something. Or like in my example the bear books are all Non-Fiction because they have information and facts in them.
Out of all of the Non-Fiction books in the world. My favorite to read about is the Holocaust. One of my favorite books about the Holocaust is Anne Frank because it's a journal written by a little girl when she was hiding from the Nazi's, but she sadly got ratted out and killed in a gas chamber.
