About ME

Timothy Asigbey (born October 5, 1994) better known by his stage name Txmo,is a young Ghanaian artiste, producer and Sound Engineer. His artistry is best described as a blend of Hip-Hop,Jazz,Afro and soul music with quite interesting lyricism that keeps your head nodding. His tranquil approach torwards his production and also to his music is what makes his sound stand out, at the same time has an agressive "go-getter" approach towards it. Txmo is about 6ft 2in tall and currently runs a media and content company called "Onecloud9" which is also abbreviated as OC9 with co-founders Andrew Amonoo-Neizer(Drekuzko) and Kevin Ansong(KevinKing). His love for rhythm and poetry began very early in primary school where he would tear up every single sheet of his notebook just to figure out phrases and words that rhyme well together. His early years in high school had him try out his writing and right after he felt he had done awesome work he went ahead to save him some cash and recorded his first ever single (a cover actually) of the Nas & Damian Marley song of the Distant Relatives Album "Nah Mean". His musical influence is a merge between the Old school and New school with acts such as Nas,Coolio,Camp Lo,Stevie Wonder,Joe,Notorious B.I.G,Kojo Antwi,PJMorton just to name a few. On his production journey he listened and studied greats such as Pharell Williams, Timbaland and some other great acts like Ta-Ku, SG Lewis, Anomalie just to name a few. Being the Last born among three brothers, Txmo's vision and approach towards his music is to build a cult-like following that will spread a sense of self-awareness and self-beleif in his music. Txmo is currently in his final year in the university for a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at Regional Maritime University. Aside music, he likes to spend most of his time in computer programming and website design and hopes to start his Tech Company soon.
