My WHY I exercise because

  • Everyone knows they should exercise. It's good for us, our bodies are meant to move, it keeps us strong, keeps our weight down.
  • This is my story.
I was in a serious car accident that nearly killed me.
I spent 9 weeks in the hospital the summer of 1991.

I suffered 26 fractures including my back & neck. Spent 17 days in a coma & my right lung was punctured. The head injury meant I had intense therapy ahead of me. After I woke up I spent the week getting ready for therapy & fitted for a back brace. Hello physical therapy, recreation therapy, speech pathology & occupational therapy. It was hard work.

It was a long painful recovery & I learned the hard way that keeping my body strong was now something I HAD to do!
