The facility, named after Liberty alumni Richard and Karin Osborne who gave the lead donation for the entire complex project, includes a 1,000 chairback seat grandstand, a fully-functioning press box with a permanent sound system and booth for video streaming use and red brick and wrought-iron fencing which surrounds the entire complex.
In conjunction with the Williams Football Stadium expansion projection, a full-service concession stand and on-site restroom facilities are now available.
Luurtsema center is the home for Women's soccer. In this building we have staff offices, locker room, team room, and visiting locker room.

LUWS Culture

WOMEN'S Soccer Team Room

The team room is on the top floor of the Luurtsema Center. It is used for film analysis, team meetings, pre game chapel, team activities, and a place for girls to hangout and do homework. This is a place where girls will develop special memories just spending time together and hanging out.

Liberty Women's soccer has a history of winning titles and is looking to build upon that by winning the spring 2021 ASUN Tournament title and the fall 2021 ASUN Regular Season. These trophies you will find outside of the team room entrance.

Liberty Women's Soccer Training Facilities

Liberty Soccer Training ground

This training facility was built in 2018, and serves as the main training ground for the Liberty Women's Soccer team.

Thomas Indoor Soccer Complex

This is a great space for competitive training sessions or if players desire to spend some time on their own growing their technique.

Liberty Indoor Football Facility

The indoor football facility was finished in 2017 and is available to women's soccer when the weather makes playing outside unsafe.

Strength Facility

This is our main space for strength and conditioning. Depending on the season, or individual needs, this will be a place that a Women's Soccer player will spend a significant amount of time.

The vision of the Liberty Flames Olympic Sports Strength & Conditioning department begins and ends with having an undeniable, profound impact on the lives and careers of our young student athletes.

With an innovative, organized and precise approach, our top priority is to improve high speed, loaded and unloaded, total body coordination and mechanical efficiency. We will imitate the demands of their sport through a relentless unmatched, and authentic working environment. Everything we do in training is done to help the athletes more efficiently execute the movement requirements of their sport. We will demand character, effort and accountability, which are and will be non-negotiable.

Liberty Athletic Center (LAC)

Liberty University’s new 60,000-square-foot Liberty Athletics Center (LAC) integrates academic study areas with state-of-the-art rehabilitation, strength and conditioning facilities, academic and administrative offices, equipment room and a student-athlete refueling station. The building, situated behind Osborne Stadium and the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex near the Liberty Baseball Stadium, held its grand opening on Nov. 3, 2017. Approximately one-third of the space is reserved for academic offices, tutoring centers, a classroom and numerous academic enhancement areas.
Designed to be the central hub for Liberty Athletics, the facility includes an Olympic sports weight room and an athletics training facility for short- and long-term rehabilitation of Liberty’s NCAA Division I student-athletes. The three-story building also houses an equipment room to service Liberty’s Olympic sports and a prominent refueling station located in the building’s main entrance for use by Liberty’s Sports Nutrition staff.

Inside the LAC is our Athletic Training Facility

The Liberty University Sports Medicine Department will strive to provide the most efficient and effective service for the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of injury or illness to all intercollegiate student-athletes at Liberty University.
