Canbury School Newsletter 13th December 2019. issue 179

Dear Parents and Visitors

What a week! What a term! Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the last edition of The Canbury School Newsletter for 2019. We've had the most busy, festive, wonderful week, with ice skating, our student lunch, our tea party for local senior citizens, House Competition this morning, including Christmas jumper wearing and judging, and then finishing off with our 11am assembly today, where it was a full cosy house.

Thank you, as ever, for your support throughout the year and for the many generous gifts which have come our way this month. May I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a safe 2020. We look forward to welcoming all students back to Canbury on Tuesday 7th January 2020 at 8.10am.

Finally, the Designated Safeguarding Lead staff, 1st Mrs Rich and 2nd Ms Clancy will be contactable by email throughout the Christmas holiday for safeguarding concerns via the safeguarding@canburyschool.co.uk email.

This address is for safeguarding only and not for general school enquiries.

Kind regards

Ms Clancy

Headmistress.

We started off with ice skating at Hampton Court on Monday.
Then we enjoyed a very tasty festive Christmas lunch at Kingston Lodge Hotel on Wednesday.
Thursday was joyous. We decorated Gingerbread in the morning and then enjoyed a most wonderful afternoon tea party with our lovely senior citizen guests. Ned came along to say hello and was stroked and petted.
Merry Christmas from the Canbury Sixth Form!
This morning was fun fun fun all the way. It was loud, messy and Christmassy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
