Congratulations to Dr Andrew Rice, Hassabis Fellow in Computer Science, who has been promoted to a Professorship at the Department of Computer Science and Technology.
Dr Rice has been a Fellow of Queens' since 2010 and is currently Director of Studies for first year Computer Science students. His current research focus is on the application of machine learning to programming and he helps lead the Isaac Physics and Isaac Computer Science projects (read more on his research here). He was also interviewed in The Bridge magazine in 2018.
He takes up his Professorial title on 1st October 2020.
