FBS #GameChanger JORDAN JOHNSON RUNS AWAY WITH ASN PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

The senior rushed for a school-record 282 yards in a 41-20 MAC victory against Akron on Oct. 27. Johnson broke a 25-year-old record held by Alan Bell who rushed for 266 yards against Duquesne in 1991.

Johnson scored on runs of 61 and 39 yards for the Bulls (2-6, 1-3 MAC) and spearheaded a rushing attack that finished with 378 yards — the most in Buffalo's FBS era (since 1999).

He received 88% of the votes cast at americansportsnet.com and @LiveOnASN on Twitter, beating out Tulsa RB James Flanders (7%), Southern Miss QB Nick Mullens (7%) and East Carolina WR Zay Jones (6%).

JAMES FLANDERS

The senior, who is not even the leading rushing on his own team, ran for a career-high 249 yards and 5 TDs in a 59-30 win against Memphis. Flanders, who had 33 carries, also set a school record — and tied Keenan Reynolds' American Athletic Conference mark — for most TDs in a game. His first 200-yard game also helped Tulsa become bowl eligible.

ZAY JONES

The senior moved into second on the NCAA's all-time receptions list in a 41-3 American Athletic Conference victory against UConn. Jones had 19 catches for 185 yards and a touchdown. He also threw his first career TD pass in the second quarter to quarterback Philip Nelson. Jones has 355 career catches, six more than former Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles. Jones trails only the 387 catches tallied by former ECU teammate Justin Hardy. On the season, Jones has 114 catches for 1,094 yards.

NICK MULLENS

The senior became the leading passer in school history in the Golden Eagles' 24-14 victory against Marshall Saturday on ASN. He passed for 300 yards and a touchdown, modest numbers by his standards. But he also set the career standard (11,057 yards), surpassing Austin Davis for No. 1 at the school that also produced Brett Favre.
