What is LEAD's Vision?

The Leadership Excellence and Academic Development Fellowship is designed to prepare Liberty University undergraduate students to excel with a holistic approach to student development that consists of rigorous support for spiritual and intellectual growth. Through character development (spiritual care, mentoring, leadership, and cultural competency), academic support, career guidance, service learning, and family involvement; the LEAD Fellowship will foster the success of Liberty University students through weekly workshops and experiential learning opportunities. The LEAD Fellowship will educate each fellow’s family to become a knowledgeable support system, as this has proven crucial to college persistence.

Time Requirements

2 hours a week

  • 1 hour for Class
  • 1 hour for Mentoring Sessions

Mentoring Sessions

Every LEAD fellow is partnered with a peer mentor.
  • Connect with your assigned Peer Mentor once a week for at least an hour.
  • Suggested Activities are: MERGE Worship Service, Career Center, FUN Friday, LEAD Retention Events, Serving Learning, DIRT Talks, other C4ME/LEAD events,
