"O.K. Someday—we're gonna get a jack together and we're gonna have a little house and a couple of acres an' a cow and some pigs— "An' live off the fatta the lan'," Lennie shouted. An' have rabbits. Go on, George! Tell about what we're gonna have in the garden and about the rabbits in the cages and about the rain in the winter and the stove and how thick the cream is on the milk like you can hardly cut it. Tell about that, George." Pg(14)
Hurst taught us that you can't change people. You either take them as they are or don't at all. As far as dreams, you have to push yourself in order to get to your dream.

"Every day that summer we went to the pine beside the stream of Old woman Swamp, and I put him on his feet at least a hundred times each afternoon. I became too discouraged because it didn't seem as if he was trying, and I would say, "Doodle, don't you want to learn to walk?" He'd nod his head, and I'd say, "well, if you don't keep trying, you'll never learn." Pg(3)
For my Modern Example Disney taught us that, in life no matter what we do we are going to get negativity and hate just by doing what we love. As far as dreams, Disney taught us that when we're trying to get to our dreams we're gonna get negativity and hate no matter what. Disney teaches us to do what ever makes us happy no matter what anybody says.

Ratatouille wants to become a chef but his family doesn't approve of that because he's a rat and he wants to work in the human world, which is dangerous for rats. But ratatouille rebels against his family and folows his dream.
So what?
It impacts society these days because they don't work hard enough to get to their dreams. In my opinion I think dreams are good, because they lead you to success. We learn that dreams are not always easy to work for But if you really care a lot about that dream you'd do anything and everything just to get to that dream.
